Hello! My name is Benjamin Beckmann, I’m 16 years old and originally from Germany. I’m currently a student at Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania, USA.

I’m planning a trip to Adelaide, Australia, to visit my girlfriend who lives there. I’m currently looking for a homestay from around November 15th to December 3rd, although the exact dates are not confirmed yet because they depend on my flights.

Since I’m only 16 and travelling from the US to Australia, I’m mainly looking for a safe and welcoming place to stay and, most importantly, a place where I can have a room and somewhere to sleep during my visit. At the same time, I would be very happy to get to know a host family, experience everyday Australian life and learn more about the culture.

My parents are fully aware of and supportive of my trip. They would cover all costs and take care of any necessary permissions, documents or arrangements required for me to stay with a host family as a minor.

I’m a friendly, respectful and responsible person, and I would be very grateful for any family who would be willing to help me in my situation. It would mean a lot to me to have a safe and comfortable place to stay while visiting Australia.
